Brian Golden is the Sandra Rotman Chaired Professor in Health Sector Strategy at the Rotman School of Management, the University of Toronto and the University Health Network, and is Executive Director of the Collaborative for Health Sector Strategy. He is an advisor and consultant on health care strategy and policy issues to government, hospitals and life-sciences firms. Professor Golden conducts research in the areas of health system integration and collaboration, hospital boards, organizational strategy, strategic change and implementation. Since 2005 Professor Golden has been Chair of the Board of the Institute for Clinical and Evaluative Sciences (ICES). He is the 2004 recipient of the national Ted Freedman Innovation in Healthcare Education Award.

Rosemary Hannam is the manager of research and operations at the Collaborative for Health Sector Strategy. Most recently Rosemary managed the Collaborative's work on physician retention and the Lakeview simulation project, and she is now focused on exploring Michael Porter's ideas on Value-Based Competition and how Ontario's public healthcare system could benefit. Prior to this she lead the execution and writing of three research studies: "Management of SARS at UHN" with Rotman Strategy Professor Joseph D'Cruz, "What makes for a successful case costing hospital" with Gail Murray at the Change Foundation and "Patient-Centred Care at Princess Margaret Hospital" with Professor Brian Golden. Prior to joining the University she worked in human resources at the Trillium Health Centre.
